Mann to Man: Capitalizing on your moment
I don’t care if you’re shy, mute, slow-witted or completely unoriginal …. you’re bound and bent to have a moment in the spotlight. Maybe you’ll catch a game winning touchdown in the state finals. Maybe you’ll go undefeated in a drinking game at a massive house party. MAYBE after years of playing yo-yo in your basement alone, you’ll be presented with the opportunity to perform infront of millions of people and deliver a performance that would humble Kayne West himself.
Enter Jensen Kimmitt - the yo yo champion in the video above.
My advice to you Jensen? Quit your day job. Become a professional yo-yo performer. You have a unique talent. I want to see you in Hip-hop videos. I want to see you making appearances at clubs. I want to see you in the half-time show at major sporting events. I want to see you on the Today Show, Letterman, Colbert, Jersey Shore … take whatever comes your way.
Forget 15min of fame. Jensen’s yo-yo is his golden ticket to have the year of his life. I hope he takes advantage.
To everyone else - when your moment in the spotlight comes - milk it!
You’re welcome,
Mann Landers
